Gaspésie Road Trip with the FlexiGet Pro: Our Coffee Road Journal

Some projects start simply because you want to know if your own product holds up – literally. So we loaded up the car, booked a few campsites between Carleton-sur-Mer and Forillon, and took the FlexiGet Pro as our sole coffee source for ten days. Here's what we learned.

The itinerary: Highway 132 to the end

We started in Quebec City, heading towards Baie-des-Chaleurs, then to the tip of the peninsula to Percé and Forillon National Park, before heading back up through the Matapédia Valley. Nothing beats 900 km of road, mornings camping, and a few nights in cabins without an on-site coffee machine to test a device.

Field test: what really matters when traveling

On the road, it's never the numbers that matter most – it's what they actually enable:

Between homemade shots, we also stopped at real local roasters – because a road trip in Gaspésie also means good addresses:

• Carleton-sur-Mer – a roastery stop with a view of Baie-des-Chaleurs, perfect for leaving with a bag of fresh beans.
• Percé – a cozy coffee shop-bookstore, ideal for a break before the excursion to Bonaventure Island.

The machine, meanwhile, took over everywhere else – on the roadside, at the campsite, in rest areas with no coffee for miles around.

What we learned
